New Services and New Rates to Keep Antioch Beautiful!

New services, starting July 1, are designed to encourage recycling, to reduce the amount of trash taken to the landfill, to discourage illegal dumping and, ultimately, to keep Antioch beautiful. They include:

• More recycling service: from bi-weekly to weekly
• Additional items that go directly into the recycle cart, including paperback and hardcover books, hard plastics and peripheral electronic waste such as computer keyboards, speakers and mice
• Free yard waste and cardboard recycle cleanups rise from 2 to 3 per year, including pickups of fluorescent bulbs, CFLs, batteries and cell phones
• Two free bulky item pickups per year (see back page for full details)

New rates & services go into effect July 1st, 2010.
